The 8th Wonder of the World®…THE BOWERY—a landmark located 50 yards from the Atlantic Ocean in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, U.S.A., has been entertaining millions from all over the globe since 1944 with its genuine southern hospitality.
The “World Famous” Bowery is open 7 days a week from 11AM – UNTIL and features cold drinks and live entertainment every night starting at 8:30 featuring The Bounty Hunters and special guest bands on Sunday nights, with a friendly relaxed atmosphere and a “Ya’ Can’t Beat Fun®” attitude.
The Bowery’s house band from 1973 -1980 was country super group “ALABAMA”, who still consider it their home, and make numerous appearances throughout the year. The Bowery’s place in music history was secured after Alabama was inducted into the County Music Hall of Fame in 2005.





The Bowery has an extensive souvenir list with many unique items featuring The Bowery logo from T-shirts and hats to hot sauces and cigarettes. These items are available at the club, by phone / mail order, and over The Bowery’s online shop.
Because of The Bowery’s long and unique history, many tourists to the Myrtle Beach area stop by just to get a glimpse of The Bowery. Regulars and people who have visited The Bowery on vacation have encouraged others to visit through word of mouth.
